My Hometown: Roanoke, Virginia

I was born in Edenton, North Carolina but spent the majority of my life in Roanoke, Virginia. I lived there from 5 years old until I moved with my mom to Arkansas when I was 19. I loved living in the blue Ridge Mountains and would love to visit again someday. The scenery and outdoor activities were always a big part of my life, so moving to Arkansas was a big change because it's so different. There's no mountains here. In most areas, it's completely flat. And not to mention it's so humid every single day...

Education and Future Plans

I am majoring in Information Technology at the University of the Cumberlands. After I finish my associate's degree this upcoming spring, I will try and find a job in the field to gain more experience. I'm not sure of what I want to specialize in yet, but I'm excited about the possibilities in this field.

My Relationship with the Internet

I use the Internet every day for many different things, including entertainment, learning, work, video games, and staying connected with friends and family who live far away. I spend at least 4 hours online each day between my phone and computer, especially when I am working on schoolwork, playing games, or relaxing. The Internet is very important to me because it gives me access to so much information and allows me to learn about things I am interested in. I also enjoy using it to make new friends and stay connected with people.
